Course Director of “Endoscopy One”：Tokyo Live Global Endoscopy Network 2020
Dear all,
This year, we are facing a serious situation of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic around the world. Despite the tough condition, endoscopists have to keep caring for our patients, while considering well about prevention of the coronavirus infection. Conventional live demonstrations, particularly international live demonstrations, are difficult to organize. From an organizer’s point of view, the safety of all patients, faculties and guests is the first priority.
Therefore, we decided to organize Tokyo Live 2020 in a total web style. We call this project as “Tokyo Live Global Endoscopy Network.” It is also symbolized as “Endoscopy One.”
In “Endoscopy One”, all faculties will join this total web project from their home country. Each presenter will give us a short lecture by pre-recorded interesting cases followed by live discussion on web. In other words, no faculty will come to our hospital in person. Some faculties will join from their own home, others will give us a talk from their hospital.
Our program will cover wider aspects of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. “Endoscopy One” is scheduled for full three days. Program will proceed sharply on time as scheduled. Then, anybody can enjoy topics of his/her interest.
We decided to provide the web broadcasting free of charge! Any person who is interested in digestive endoscopy around the world will have access to this big project just by simply filling out the registration on our home page.
We hope “Endoscopy One” will be accepted with many colleagues who love endoscopy.
